The last time I had Jamaican food this good was in NYC! It’s been hard to find anything close until now. Yesterday, I ordered the oxtail and curry chicken, and they were exceptional. The oxtail was incredibly tender and succulent, while the curry chicken, which I saved for breakfast, was just as flavorful and didn’t disappoint. This is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant I’ve tried in North Carolina. I ordered through DoorDash, and not only was the food amazing, but the attention to packaging was impressive—everything was carefully bagged without a single drop of juice leaking, which I really appreciated. I’ve had issues with messy packaging at other places, but this order arrived perfectly. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Jamaican flavors!

I was greeted my friendly. Customer service person. They recommended different things to try, which was really cool. I went there for the beef patty and the chicken patty. I really enjoyed the chicken patty more than the beef patty at the time.It was super delicious. I wanted so many more things there to eat, but my appetite wouldn't let me.. if I end up in Hendersonville for another appointment, I will definitely stop by there again.

This is a great place to try authentic Jamaican food. Run by a husband and wife - he's from Jamaican. It's not fancy, but it's clean. The menu is small but with a good variety of choices. We each had the jerk chicken. Comes with two sides. The roasted chicken looks great and it is. The sauce is very spicy, so request it on the side. The wife served us. Very nice and helpgul. Interesting Jamaican sides. Unusual, authentic, and tasty. I had the Rasta Pasta and a good cabbage side. 'Come as you are' and give them a try. You'll be back.

A hidden gem small restaurant. The food was outstanding, especially the delicious oxtail and the irresistible rice and peas. The Jamaican beef patty was fantastic, and the Jamaican ginger beer was the best I've ever had. The service was very welcoming. Highly recommend this place for a truly authentic and flavorful dining experience!

I had an event to do in Hendersonville and came across this restaurant. I didn’t hesitate to try it and it was the best decision I made!! Im known to find the good eats and this time i struck Gold!!! My bandmate and I got the jerk ribs with rice n peas & plantains. I wanted the mac but didn’t want to eat too many carbs before show time. The young lady gave me a sample! S/O to her for that because it was delicious omg. I plan on taking a 2hr 30 min trip just to eat here again! Btw my bandmate is Jamaican and he approved. The food was A1!!!

So good! One of the best meals I’ve had in years. Jerk chicken, cabbage, plantains, and rice are a must. Curry goat is fantastic. Can’t wait to go back and try the snapper and salt fish(not on the menu but they have it every day.)

This jerk chicken is honestly the best I’ve ever had! It truly gives you the feeling of being on the island, with an authentic Caribbean flavor that’s hard to find. Everything on my plate tasted fresh and real, just like home-cooked food. I had the jerk chicken with escovitch sauce, mac & cheese, festival callaloo. I also asked for ketchup and jerk sauce on the side, and everything came out perfect. Highly recommend!
